Because taking advice from a team with a loss encouraging fans to root for a loss is solid advice. LSU has to beat everyone and anything less is not controlling your own destiny.

The honest truth is it doesn't matter who you root for. Unless you are a player it won't change the game.

Both the times LSU won a national title in recent history it lost a game on the way there.
