Right is right.
Step 1 is realizing everyone is wrong at least sometimes.
Step 2 is deciding what to do about it.
Is it worth it to be right? yes, but...
Is it worth losing a relationship to prove you are right? Well that's up to you.
Your not choosing whether being right is worth it so much as choosing whether continuing the argument is worth it. At that point just make your case and let it go. When she brings it up on her own (and she will) tell her she knows what you think about it, give a quick summary if you have to, and instantly let it go again.
Edit: The topic itself doesn't matter but its importance to you does. That said, if you (or she) just can't get past an argument over language, your probably heading down a bumpy road.
