Need more African American Athletic directors

"There was a time when I wouldn't give [Broyles] the spit if he was dying," Richardson said. "That anger. When you've got that kind of an anger in you, it takes away from living because you're so angry."

"When you have 90 percent of white ADs making decisions, what do you expect?" Richardson said. "In order to reach things, you have to get started at the top. You can't be down here at the bottom asking this guy down here to help me when the man at the top is calling the shots. We've got to get to the top. We've gotta get some more involvement."

Oh good, now I can finally sleep at night now that Nolan isn't mad anymore. It's been a rough decade + for me.

Meh, that is picking two bits out of a good sized piece that was mostly about how Nolan has settled down and put his anger behind him.

Every time I've bumped into him Richardson has been pleasant and happy to pose for pictures or sign autographs if anyone wanted them.

Yes, he and Broyles detested one another(and probably still do to an extent). Well for all the good he has done we all know Broyles could be a real asshat to his coaches. They both deserve a heaping share of the blame for how things went down and I think they both realize that now.

Nolan's retired and like most of us he's moved on.
