There is nothing that universally works. Women are apparently people too, and therefore all different. You need to be able to try and read them from what info there is in their pics and bio to judge how you should approach the situation

I was gonna say this when the thread died down and wasn't as lame as it first appeared.

Women come in many shapes and sizes and different moods.

Although on Tinder, you should just look decent and have, at the very least, a modicum of personality.

This, although I have a standard line I've used for a while that has been very effective in getting initial responses about 2 out of every 3 times (65% - 70% of the time). The key to it is that I basically make a single comment that asks a girl her preference on 4 quick pop culture/popular questions. It does two things. First, it is so different and creative compared to all the lame things guys are sending her and it immediately puts her at ease that you're a witty, cool guy. From there, it depends on the women. I'm an average looking guy and have set dates up with some above average women and have hooked up with a few of them this way. I stumbled on the initial line that gets a lot of responses. They are hooked and intrigued by the creativity and uniqueness of the response and it makes a good first impression.
