Exactly. RG3 wanted to play at Texas and so did Jameis Winston. Manziel wasn't even recruited by Texas. Look at those three recruiting failures right there that Mack didn't want and wrap your head around that. All three Heisman winners, and I think you get a clearer picture of what "broke" Texas' program.

That is what broke the program, but then all kinds of other crap got piled on top- a shite AD, out of control megaboosters and their egos, us hurting their recruiting base with a SEC move, a network that only gets watched by opposing coaches looking for tips, etc. It is a lot to dig out from.
