I propose that a compromise around this be reached based off of a theoretical point system. In other words, if a team wins an SEC division title, they are awarded 1 point, an SEC title is 2 points, and a major-selector natty is 3 points. The compromise could be that if a team scores 20 points or more in any combination of the above, then they would still have worthy enough accomplishments to be allowed to join.
