I don't see why not.
But that would Depend upon the mission/charge of the UofA endowment.
I have no idea how far beyond campus their dollars actually stretch.

This would be a discussion to have with the Dean of your College/School of Ed, as well as community partners (e.g., superintendents, principles, community colleges).

It's worth having a chat, anyway. Grad students would be all over it for theses work, dissertation topics, and research agendae.
