I think you missed the point I was making. It doesn't matter who the OC is. Every year, the offense scheme was the same since 2007. Now they are still great but the days of dominating everyone in the conference are over. Make sense?

they were extremely close to making the title game last year, and that loss was on the defense. they have a shitty QB situation right now, yet they still somehow managed 500 yards of offense and 37 points against Ole Miss, a team with a supposedly good defense, despite 5 turnovers. The problem with Alabama right now is their defense and the QB position, not the scheme. I do think Kiffin goes away from the run too much and plays too much out of the shotgun, but he's still been able to put up plenty of points for Alabama to win
