I truly don't understand a&m's obsession with so many things.. but now Chavis..
LSU still has the same defensive schemes and is already better coached without Chavis. Our linebackers look better than quite some time as a whole. The recruiting is far superior as well thus far.. and will continue to be.. and the line is actually getting dominant again.
a&m has had great d coordinators before and it still doesn't change the fact the team is just soft. a&m looked soft yet again against a really bad arkansas team. imagine when you actually face a more dominant and healthy offensive team. a&m has no impressive wins over anyone this season and were one 4th down conversion away from losing to Arkansas.. but they had the penalty and punted.
a&m's offense is actually down this season too.. it should catch up to them very soon.
seriously, why do they think it's all chavis? lol. chavis was extremely lazy and when he didn't have veteran talent at LSU.. even there he had some really bad defenses.. like in 2013 when we had our best offense.. LSU has had a culture for defense since Saban got here.. and it has maintained all throughout.. they have the best position coaches in the nation.. raymond with the dbs is as great as it gets, coach o on the line is as great as it gets, and steele is as technical of a coach as there is and a great linebackers coach in his own right.
regardless one thing that doesn't change is LSU is far superior to a&m.. but they insist to try to make this a rival.. they aren't even worthy.
Chavis leaving LSU is a blessing.. LSU who recruits well is now on a whole other level..

And LSU still has fewer wins than Texas A&M.

Getting recruits and coaching them up are 2 different things...
A&M has a great recruiting staff, Chavis can be "lazy" if he wants we will still get solid recruits.
We will see how these "LSU Recruits" do in 4 years when all Chavis guys are gone. Chavis might not be the best recruiter but hes great at developing talent. Your own fanbase has said as much.
