Moore essentially called out Mauk and coaches to throw him the ball more? Moore was the one who dropped a for sure TD pass in the game yesterday, and also dropped one in the UCONN game. Maybe that's the reason you aren't getting the ball, you catch about half the throws thrown in your direction. Moore should shut up and focus on catching the ball.

This is the 2nd player in as many weeks to tell fans to change the channel/ tell fans that is why they're in the seats. Not really the best image to be portraying to your fans is really all I'm trying to communicate

Meh, I don't particularly like it but how would you respond as a 20 year old with people taking shots at you.

I'll tell you one thing though. He needs to catch the damn ball or he shouldn't be on the field.

Social media creates more problems than it solves. Players should probably just stay off it during season.

Agree. Hall, dilosa, brown, and leftwich should be the top 4.

The best advice the staff can give these guys is to stay the frick off of social media. There's always going to be trolls out there showing their asses. No need for the players to be showing their asses too.

He deserves the chance to say something back to the negativity. These are kids that take a beating in the social media and this is the way, although misguided, they defend themselves. Chase Daniel, Jeremy Maclin, and many greats didn't have to deal with.

That said, he needs to catch the damn ball. He made a highlight reel one handed catch but he missed a game changer that hit his hands.

He can if he wants to lower himself to the level of the trolls. Frankly, I'd prefer to let my players wear a hat at the dinner table and bar them from having social media accounts.

It's not negativity, he can't catch a ball and that's what people were saying to him.

The same comments you just reiterated. Catch the easy throws to you and no one will say a word. He did have the spectacular one handed catch earlier in the game, that was amazing. Dropping gift wrapped touchdowns several weeks in a row though will draw comments.

Only one way to stop those.

I disagree with most of you, because Moore is probably the best receiver on the team and when I have seen him cut across the field to the right side Mauk very seldom looks to that side of the field. He's had a few drops, but his hands are better than Macklin's were at Mizzou.

He's not telling "fans" to change the channel...he's telling a specific heckler to change the channel.

Of course, most of twitter is incomprehensible blather, so who really knows what they are trying to communicate.

yea that's why he needs to have the will power to use "ignore", social media, it's not going to change any time soon.

he did make a spectacular one hand catch behind him, but it was just one play, we'll have to see some consistency to know if he's going to be better than average. Jimmy Jackson made a great one hander like that one time, he was a good but not great hands receiver.

Why am I the only one who doesn't give a frick about the qb play/WR catching the ball, WHEN WE CANT RUN THE BALL.

You're not the only one, not at all. I think most people think the running game will improve dramatically when Hans is back 100%. There is a potential solution to the running game - not so sure we have one with the passing side of the offense, unless some major changes are made.
