Could be. Certainly makes sense. I wouldn't buy guns from them with those rules in place.

I do wonder whats so oppressive about a list that's already required to be maintained by the dealer being made available to law enforcement. But hey, we gotta be up in arms over something right

Google Oakland CA gun stores and look at the map. SF is literally encircled by gun stores all over the Bay Area. Pretty sure there is a demand for firearms.
