@HamiltonESPN: #ESPNJr300 No. 30 Jeff Thomas 200 yards last week. Top 3: #Mizzou #Alabama #OhioState. @jeremycrabtree LINK

I have to like our chances here. We have 3 of his teammates either here or coming. We've gotten whoever we wanted out of ESTL lately.
Sure would be nice to start showing some life on offense though. That's my only cause for concern. That and Urban Meyer.

Ya, its odd he wants to be in the big 10.

If Mizzou doesn't get him after recruiting him for 4 years and being the first ones on him, then they screwed something up.
For a kid to start as a freshman at East St Louis is legit.
ETA: On the plus side for Mizzou is that I don't think his dad played football at Mizzou, so it's not a guarantee that he'll go somewhere else.

It's more of mizzou is just out of its league if those are his other 2.

Wasn't Ezekiel Elliott a legacy from ESTL?

He was a Mizzou legacy, but he went to John Burroughs, in Missouri. It's a private school, so I guess technically he could have been from East St Louis and went there, but it would be hard for me to believe.

No. He didn't live in East STL. They lived in Clayton I believe which is about as far from ESTL financially as you can get.

Clayton is where all my buddies from STL moved after college. Well, good luck Mizzou, don't let those dirty Buckeyes get him

When is Mizzou going to finally offer Harry Ballard?

Last I heard we are waiting for his grades to get in order. We like him, and would already have offered if he was going to qualify.

He will not go to Ohio State.

The last 5* WR you all had didn't work out so well. Just sit this one out and let the big boys handle it.

IDK, he was a big part of a 12 win team that won the Cotton Bowl. Did he lead the SEC in TD catches that year?
I think it worked out ok...

Ole Miss isn't recruiting him!
ESTL is the same high school that gave us Kellen Winslow(Chargers) and Eric Wright(49ers) back in the day. They use to be a national power from the 70's thru the 90's and they use to travel the country kicking the rears out of the best teams in the country.
