In today's game, Offense -vs- -Defense is like watching a fight between someone who's the arms are tied behind their backs -vs- some who can use both arms. Than calling it a fair fight......

Should be ball past line of scrimmage.
Shouldn't have linemen past 1 yard on pass plays.

But what should be done and what' done is sometimes skewed by human nature, bias, greed, and things like this. Ratings/money rule the day, and high scoring games is what's selling for most. Plus, not every program can get elite defenders, but they can do this offensive style of play though. Makes for much more parity across the nation. More people interested = Higher ratings. If a few defesive bodies pile up along the way, it's seen has acceptable collateral damage. It's amazing defenses stop offenses at all anymore, to tell you the truth. One of the only ways to combat this, is jump on the offensive "Our offense has got the advantage train" In other words, do these tactics too.
