I've been pretty critical of Bert, but not having 4 days of two a days isn't an issue.
As a college athlete you train and condition your body year round. 4 extra practices with limited contact isn't going to make any difference. You're there all summer getting ready for the season.
I know we are all looking for that "reason" that we suck. Not having two a days isn't one of them. I've been there. No difference.
It's just a case of the injury bug. Now, you may be on to something with the Health/Nutrition diet aspect. Or possibly Herb. Everyone loves Herb, but we are soft up front.

There must be some reason everyone else does them. Why the hell did they get invented in the first place?
Two-a-days may be a mental toughness thing for a team, I don't know. But I think a lack of toughness, especially up front is maybe our biggest problem other than injuries. I don't know if we have had a single QB under pressure yet, and our O-line is clearly melted butter soft
