Names I've Heard That Make Sense, IMO
Chip Kelly
Dan Mullen
Gus Malzahn (Their badmen are hard to beat though.)
Kirby Smart - I'd gamble with his 1st HC position here.
Gary Patterson - make him give an answer
Diantonio - make him say no, although his buyout is unreal, so this is even slimmer of a chance than Patterson.
Tom Herman - Gotta bring a badass DC with him.
Nick Saban - Why not, 3 HOF coaches in a row.
Bill Cowher - Lives in NC now.
Dave Doeren - If they can get to 10 wins this year and we need to get him help in recruiting coaches.

Names I'm Still on The Fence About
Chad Morris (bad record at Williams Brice)
Larry Fedora - Leaning towards "no thanks"
Fuente
Doc Holliday (if he puts together another double digit win season, he should be considered.)

Names I Heard That Made Me Laugh
Mack Brown
Lame Kitten
Butch Davis
Bubba (frick no)
James Franklin - too much rape
Charlie Strong - failing at his job now.
Al Golden

Mangus is the only guy on staff now that even would remotely deserve consideration, but I don't think that's going to happen for him.

defensive minded coaches tend to not do as well, Saban is the exception, not the rule

do y'all want another "proven winner" like Spurrier or someone young and fresh?

I think Kirby Smart would be a bad hire

Grabbing someone successful from the lower ranks, like UF has done with CUM & CJM seems like a better option IMO

And I am still not convinced that CSS is gone after this year
