Neither QB has looked worse than Sims after his first two starts.

Florida was Sims' coming out party, but he never looked as bad as Coker.

I think there nothing you can do at this point to speed up cokers delivery..
You can only protect it with a good running game which will allow play action to come into play..
Through play action he has more time to set up and make up for his set up with velocity.

When you think about Bateman you see possibility of sims..The athlete Qb who has a nice delivery.
but your going to have to live with him making a few turn overs..
Like sims he needs to use his legs when in-doubt Until he gains the staff confidence..

Batman will win a shootout type game and Coker will win the steady game backed by good
defense. The One thing that sticks out is Kiffen has done his best to avoid the middle of the field.
Hence all those wr screens.Yet cokers slow set and delivery still gets exposed there..

Notice when we finally throw a ball to the Te in the middle of the field he is so wide open..
Middle Tenn looked like they knew when almost every wr comeback when it was called,
because we only thru 2-3 balls vs Wisky in the middle of the field..

Coker has seniority and can be steady backed by a good running attack.
He plays with more efficiency as his confidence builds and right now that's the safest choice..

Its why batman is better in the relief roll coming in if were trailing and coker has been already given a chance..

But at some point in a game like this weekend the middle of the field has to be attack with some throws to oj Howard.
Howard must be used as to be more explosive as an offense.
A wr core of ridgley , foster, Howard,Stewart & 16 can do damage and there is no way
kiffen's not going to open this offense up it's in his dna..

The fla game last year at home was a no holding back attack.
That took advantage of the aggressive style muschamp defense is tailor made for kiffen
to take advantage of. ole miss is that same defense.

So it's qb by committee unless we fall 10-13 points behind then bateman will be called upon to just play
football and let it rip.

There lies the big difference in our Qb's..
