I think the biggest difference between the B1G and SEC are those middle and bottom teams though. Look at SEC West schedules. There are no 4 game stretches vs. Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, and Rutgers. You're playing 4 weeks in a row at Texas A&M, vs. Auburn, at Ole Miss, vs. LSU, etc. Multiple games in a row against big, athletic teams in front of large, fired up crowds. I don't think there is any doubt Ohio St. has the advantage of being fresher come bowl season. SEC teams, especially west, get beaten up pretty badly throughout the season.
