It's not as 'bad' as you're making it sound. Our defense is pretty stout this year and I think they'll be our shining star of the season.
Arkansas State put up over 400 total yards of offense against USC on the road. Our defense held them to 32 in the second half.
These polls absolutely are kind of silly right now, at least until we get into the meat of the conference schedule.
