All that video shows is a relatively clean hit by a kid that realized immediately afterwards the he might have gotten flagged for helmet to helmet contact.

First one...His intended point of contact upon his launch was around his midsection. Was unfortunate that he did misjudge how he would come down(which was assisted by another player).


2nd one was really unfortunate. Coaches on every level teach you to grab onto a runners leg and hold on until he's down. The momentum carried Trae over him and it's a really unfortunate play. That's the risk you take with playing this game. Sometimes, a coached-approach to a play might lead to an injury. It's just an unfortunate side-effect to the game that they play.

But MSu fans continue to bring up Elston. We've suspended him before because of a questionable play.....If you want to keep bringing him up as an example...then I fully expect you to call for your own player(s) to be suspended.
