Genius! This guy probably works Disinformation for the NSA. So early in the thread and he already secured them an out.

If our defense DOES kick arse this year then they'll revert to this. "Oh, well, yeah: We TOLD you he's good for a season or two."

First we couldn't lure him away from glorious LSU. Then they didn't want him enough to pay our price. Then he had sucked all along and they were glad to get rid of him. He was going to suck so bad for us right off the bat that we'd KNOW right away we were fools. Now he might be good for a season or two.

These guys are too smart. My head hurts.
