Seriously, dude. Do you have a legit link to the SEC offices telling LSU not to play the game? I'm genuinely curious. I sure can't.

It was reported from someone who covers LSU religiously. No blame to the SEC, as it was weather that shut the game down. However, it's an SEC game played in an SEC stadium, and it is under their jurisdiction.

What will hurt is all LSU players in contention for post season awards especially cumulative ones...

Yeah, tough luck. Cancellations happen.

If it had been a SEC game the league rules would have dictated. Since it was not, it was LSU's call and they pretty much deferred to the SEC rules.

Actually, no. The SEC has a vested interest in every home game played by an SEC team.

For the life of me, I cannot understand. How can fans of LSU blame Alabama, the REC, and the location of the SEC headquarters in Birmingham for the cancellation of this game?

I'm not fond of conspiracies, and I'm not blaming anyone but mother nature. Again, it is a home game played by an SEC team, and SEC HQ certainly has authority on the matter. Nothing to do with Alabama.

Can I repeat myself? I am not blaming Alabama. That's asinine.
