But we're such shitty fans for not filling out a neutral site game. It's the first game, there aren't any excuses.

Your game takes money, a little extra travel, and 2 days off from work to attend. I can understand why some would skip it on a Thursday night.

for people with lives and financial responsibilities outside of football, justifying spending that kind of cash for travel, lodging, tickets, food, etc becomes more and more difficult. once you get past a certain age where more important things in life come into play, you just can't go to every single game anymore.

Your damn game was only about an hour away from your campus....not even in the same league as what is being talked about with Bama and Wiscy.
