What do you think would have been the fairest neutral site for both parties?

I'm pretty sure it was always Charlotte ... Charlotte was supposed to be the place.

There will be other SEC/ACC games in Charlotte to kick off the season in the future.

As soon as Spurrier leaves I suspect we'll quit playing these opening Thursday night games for awhile from what I understand. Heck ... are we even going to do it next year? I don't think so ... unless we open with Vandy again or someone like that. I don't think they'll have UGA and us opening on Sept 3 ... matter of fact I think UGA opens against UNC in Atlanta next year. It's not going to be Kentucky. It just about has to be Vandy. A&M opens against UCLA. Mizzou opens against WVA,

It's gonna be Vandy next year and they had better not schedule that shite for a Thursday night.

I think with ESPN moving the Line Beards to the season ender not sure how UK will schedule. Probably not solid enough to commit to a 2nd non con yet in the P5 but I always thought they should play UNC / Duke / NC State to open if they are going to kill Indiana for good. EKU did not get the Sun Belt invite and playing UL and WKU every year will limit growing the brand outside of KY.

If they go with a killer front load, say 3 or 4 SEC and 1 OOC to start it will probably kill any future success. I do think Spurrier likes the idea of opening SEC play with UK or VU for the easing into the conference.
