I actually think both schools wanted to find a neutral site.

What do you think would have been the fairest neutral site for both parties?

There are only so many options in driving distance for both teams.

Charlotte,
Atlanta
Wash DC
Baltimore
Jacksonville
Nashville

Charlotte would make the most sense since it's at least in b/w the two schools.

I'm pretty sure it was always Charlotte ... Charlotte was supposed to be the place.

There will be other SEC/ACC games in Charlotte to kick off the season in the future.

As soon as Spurrier leaves I suspect we'll quit playing these opening Thursday night games for awhile from what I understand. Heck ... are we even going to do it next year? I don't think so ... unless we open with Vandy again or someone like that. I don't think they'll have UGA and us opening on Sept 3 ... matter of fact I think UGA opens against UNC in Atlanta next year. It's not going to be Kentucky. It just about has to be Vandy. A&M opens against UCLA. Mizzou opens against WVA,

It's gonna be Vandy next year and they had better not schedule that shite for a Thursday night.
