Yeah, first gameday in Athens...any traditional or new must eats? Similar to Ye Olde in Knoxville or Dreamland in Tuscaloosa?
From looking around the web, is it Last Resort on Clayton for dinner and Mama's Boy for Brunch?
Are these outdated? Any newer / better options?

Last Resort is probably my favorite restaurant downtown. It's gonna be quite the wait on a game weekend. But if you can, go there and for dessert, get the white chocolate cheesecake.
Mama's Boy is overrated to me but that's a pretty unpopular opinion. You'll have a wait here as well.
My favorite is Cali N Titos. It's a Cuban restaurant that is by far the best food for your money in Athens. Bring cash though, no card machines.
But if you're downtown I recommend The Globe, Craature Comforts Brewery, Clocked (burgers), Trappeze Pub, Transmetropolitan (pizza), and then there's about 40 bars you can check out. Idk how old you are so based on that I can tell you which ones you'd like the most

The Place is new but I love it. Southern food and great location across from North Campus and the arch.
Little Italy has good, cheap pizza. Ditto for Taco Stand and mexican food.
Amici has good wings.
The Globe and Trappeze are also really great bar/food combos.
The bar scene is the stuff of legends but the best way to tackle it is to just hop around until you find one you like. All in all, it's like Disney world: you can't really hit all of the parks in one day so just find one that you enjoy and stick with it.
Beyond Downtown, Cali N' Titos is a favorite of locals and visitors alike. Mamas Boy is really good but not necessarily worth the standard 30+ minute wait.

Skip Momma's Boy.
Last Resort is great for brunch. So is The National.
Anywhere decent is going to have a wait on a game weekend.
