When dealing with PI probation, the judge asked me if I wanted to end my "sentence" by spending 24 hours in jail (how many community service hours I had left). Definitely took that deal bc classes and drug test were getting expensive. It was too bad. I was in general pop in a very large open room with a bunch of magazines and decks of cards. Slept most of the time and played some spaids.

honestly at this point in my life and with my experience with the system if a judge asked me if i wanted to be on probation or 3 years or go to jail for 6 months and be 100% flat when done i'd honestly take the 6 months.
probation will break you down lol. the drug tests, the PO meetings, the random arse pop up house inspections. I had to go 2 and a half years without going to a horse track and that was worse than prison to me, me and my PO almost got in a fist fight because i wanted to go to the Arkansas derby lol. Plus your'e going to do every day of that 3 year probation whereas 6 months you're probably going to do 2 months and the rest on probation which i can handle 4 months probation.
