The Tennessee of the West would have to be Arkansas before Auburn. I mean, what do you need to qualify?

1. Some real success in the past
2. Been down for a long long time
3. A disconnect between predictions and actual quantitative predictive data (aka, unfounded hype)

Of course Auburn MIGHT be overhyped...but Auburn's been SEC champs 2 out of the last 5 years, 2 appearances in the Natty and 1 win...hardly where Tennessee is right now. The general predictions on Auburn (top 10 but not really anyone's pick to win it all)is supported by what we know. You cannot say that about Tennessee or Arkansas...but quite honestly, I don't think Arkansas is the Tennessee of the West either..I think they will have a good season but that's just my gut feeling.
