We should go back to public executions. Personally, I like the guillotine. Highly effective. Instant in action. Cleans up with a water hose.

Most people that commit murders do so in the heat of the moment or they're planned in a way that the perpetrator is expecting to get away with the crime.
I guess you could argue that chopping heads off would curtail some of the latter but as long as there is money, illegal drugs, and cheating spouses then people gonna get murdered.

I wish they left those that were executed for petty crimes to be hung in the streets to warn others of repercussions.
