She's does a good job, and I typically do not like any of the analysts. Most of their expertise goes as far as "hur, dur Ohio St. and Bama are looking good this year" Ya fricking think?
She's able to go a layer or two beyond the traditional talking head and unlike most women in these settings, was not put on TV because she gives you a boner.
Agree for the most part though. These national shows are almost unwatchable because they talk about the same shite and teams over and over again. They simply have no knowledge of anything beyond that.

The context was all else being equal - it was a hypothetical. She was saying Indiana is a no name school that has to have a better resume than a prestigious school. Kinda like tOSU getting the nod over TCU. All else being equal, the traditional power is getting in.
Going to 8 teams won't solve this, going 16 won't either. It'll always be a beauty pageant for the last few spots as long as it's based on opinion (commitee) and not cut and dry criteria.
Make the damn thing for P5 conf champs only and give someone a first round bye, or make 4 main conferences with only 64 D1 teams. Let's be honest Tulane and LA Tech are D1 but they aren't competing for the same title as LSU.
I'm more for "screw the whole body of work just win your damn conference". Make it like the NFL, win your division. Some years better teams will be in the same conf but so what, no one knows for sure. OSU lost to VA tech (ACC) and won the Big X which wasn't seen as a good conference. Do we really care who the best team was week one, or just who the best team in the country is when everyone gets going.
If there are 4 conferences of 16, each having a conf championship for a playoff spot based on set criteria not opinion, is that not essentially an 8 team playoff?
