The more i look at it, in terms of passing teams, UGA got off easy last year with facing just three top 50 teams in passing offense, and the majority of the schedule being above 75. It almost seems like fool's gold. Any team could have had great secondary stats playing that competition.

I have to wonder if the schedules were flipped if the secondary results would have also changed.

We played 5 common opponents, Mizzou, UF, Arky, UT, and Auburn

Passing yards
UGA
UF- 27 Yards
Arky - 296
UT - 284
Auburn - 142
Mizzou - 97

Bama
UF - 93
Arky - 246
UT - 202
Auburn - 456
Mizzou - 272

Seems even against the same competition, UGA did better...
