The second Louis got the tipped ball against UGA, it was loud. But there was a sense of "its over" in the crowd at that game. I think there was a sense of "pissed off" at that point as well. We had dominated them for 3 quarters and to be honest, I never thought they would come back. I give Murray all the credit. We were pounding them and they had quit. Then we let them back in and you could just see it happening. Then the miracle. A lot of people had given up.
Nobody had given up at the Bama game. Everyone was on egg shells most of the game and neither team was ever out of it or really down. The the whole 1 second thing happened and people were obviously upset so the run back was a punch in the gut to getting the second added back on.
Totally agree with the above, especially the Prayer in Jordan-Hare. Of course it all worked out, but I still maintain that Murray's knew WAS down.
I remember the last quarter or so of UGA 2004 being so loud it hurt my ears (my wife had to scream in my ear to try to tell me something...I could barely hear her voice and could not understand what she was saying). Of course, a lot depends on where you're sitting (we were home side, lower level, corner end zone that day).

Motherfricking THIS. I was at the game, low down in that endzone. We were off to the side so I saw it. Up close and personal. fricking Murray did NOT score. But whatever. it worked out.
What I remember most was that when Marshall threw the Hail Mary, it was away from us toward the south endzone. We really couldnt see what was happening then the whole stadium exploded.
I wish we had the Aubietron that night. Woulda been good to see that when it happened!!!
Didnt stop me from getting seriously loaded up that night.
