The rule:
Once a successful coach leaves or is fired, a school will endure 2 unsuccessful coaches or 10 years in the wilderness, minimum. There is no maximum to the suffering.
There are no exceptions to the rule.

i feel like we got half of both there
Fran was terrible (sherman was unlucky, but not terrible) and we "struggled" from 02-06ish, Fran got lucky with McGee for 1.5 years, then 07-09, so i'd say 6 years in the wilderness.
