The lazy ones that dont really have recruiters or actually do recruiting. The only leg-up is more applicants which doesnt nesicarliy equate to a hire

I worked for a company several years ago that definitely preferred UGA grads over others. This wasn't a southeastern company either. They focused on grads from UGA, Auburn, and Clemson, with the rankings of preferred grads in that order. Obviously those are good schools for my field. Never really got an explanation for it, but that was the reality.
