There's more too it than just homework. I've taught some AP classes before and those classes are pretty tough.

AP is different, but lets not act like the majority of grading in schools isn't based upon homework and the vast majority of homework is essentially copying out of a book. Ill never forget the look of one young girls face when told homework would no longer be graded. She says while crying, "How am I going to get an A now"

NYC's point is still accurate- in high school you can ace tests and still be a C/D student is you are lazy. In college the opposite is true.

I figured out early in on high school that if I did my homework I literally didn't have to study for tests- maintian a B test averaage and do your homework = A. I was a "I'd rather have 90 than a 99 since both are an A fella
