Gonna post the contents of the al.com article:

quote:

-- There was no starting quarterback. Who's in the lead? Can't read much out of that either. When they were doing drills, Jake Coker and David Cornwell were 1A and 1B, both throwing at the same time to opposite sides of the field.

-- Freshman running back Bo Scarbrough was practicing with a brace on his right knee. He was fourth in line after tearing his ACL in the spring. The other player to go down with that injury, WR Cam Sims, was not out there as expected. His rehab continues.

-- There were a few new running backs out there too. Freshman Damien Harris was third in line behind Derrick Henry and Kenyan Drake. The former 5-star is one to watch this August. Ronnie Clark was the fifth back in line behind Scarbrough.

-- With the receivers, freshman Calvin Ridley was working fourth in line on one side of the throwing drills. Chris Black and Robert Foster were in the first group with ArDarius Stewart and Parker Barrineau second and Derek Kief and freshman Daylon Charlot in the third group.

-- Oregon State transfer Richard Mullaney had a number change from No. 82 to No. 16. He was not in the first groups.

-- There appeared to be no changes with the first-team offensive line from spring. Cam Robinson (LT), Ross Pieschbacher (LG), Ryan Kelly (C), Bradley Bozeman (RG) and Dominick Jackson (RT) were the first group. Korren Kirven was the second-team left tackle.

-- Reserve center Joshua Casher was not spotted on the field.

-- Nick Saban will meet with reporters after practice.

As for Barnett, I think Cornwell could leave early for the NFL, especially if he starts this year. Ideally we find a way to get at least two years of starting out of both.
