I had a similar situation about 12 yrs ago. For a week I felt sorry for myself. Listened to every depressing Lucero song I could, and generally was miserable.
Then I remembered I had a set of testicles between my legs, swallowed down the pain, and got back on the horse.

I think everyone has a moment like this one at some point. I just realized that everything is temporary, works for not getting overly attached.
