You could really say that about any coach that's "up there" in age tho. Look at Nick Saban, the dude's 63 and coaching a constantly dominating team. Les Miles is 61 right now I believe, also coaching a pretty tough team. There are many others, but those two come to mind real quick.

Spurrier has one bad year and it's all over? I think it's way too quick to jump the gun and say something like he's too old where just two years ago we were 11-2 for the 3rd time in a row. It's fine to have doubts, but I believe a lot of people are being over dramatic over our off year. Now give me three-four years with the same woes and then maybe it'd make sense to talk about head coaching changes.

Sc is where Uga was heading into 2011. Difference is our schedule was easier than sc's is.
