The most amazing thing to me about it is the dude paid 50k to go hunting. We had this convo earlier at work and during it I found out that I actually know some folks (not closely but still...) that do this type of thing too. I'm not even trying to criticize but it's just shocking to me that people would pay that for that.

It's not what it used to be, there's more bait and wait than actual stalk hunting now a days. You used to pay for the adventure, at least according to the one person I know who is a trophy hunter. He doesn't go anymore because of the changes and all the shady shite that goes on.
