Someone posted actual data statistics which prove a point that offends you. Why don't you take your ball and go home.
Data and statistics don't prove or disprove anything. They supplement and support assumptions. A famous former employer of mine once testified before a Legislative body in regards to statistics thusly...
"You can make a computer play, 'Dixie,' while it simultaneously plays, 'The Battlehymn of the Republic,' sir."
There's more than one way to win a football game. Statistics vary depending on the means utilized or philosophy employed. At the end of the day, an Air-Raid Team or a pass-happy/heavy variant team running Spread sets along their OL will need to win a championship in order to claim validity.
As of now, multiple Spread Teams have won or played for National Titles. Texas, Florida, Auburn, Oregon and Ohio State are all pertinent examples. The problem for Air-Raid or variants from this tree of the spread formation teams is that they all emphasized heavy doses of the running game and incredibly mobile quarterbacks to contend.
Even with Sumlin's offense, it seemed at its deadliest when JFF-a gifted runner and improvisational offensive talent-was at the helm.
