lol that won't ever happen, unless Clemson doubles the enrollment.
Athens has a lot more demand given so many students there.
The town of Clemson is much smaller, there are no large libraries and courthouses and other institutional buildings like Athens has. Clemson students and alumni are anti- development there.
athens was a new south mill town, even though it was started as a college town. the town itself looks similar to Greenwood Sc to me.
