It's funny how insecure vols are about Barnett. He had a better year than Garrett. No reason to down play either of their accomplishments.
Garrett was hurt during the middle of the year and played next to big 12 DT's and freshman. It is what it is. The DL has good depth this year, and our 2nd best DE( Daeshon hall, starter since freshman @ 6'6 220) finally got to participate in offseason workouts without shoulder surgery, so he doesn't look like he skips everything but leg day.
We'll learn a lot about both of them (DB&MG) this year, and they're obviously both top tier Ends in this league.
