there's just multiple linebackers and runningbacks since then that are better than him.

Not based on how the game was played then. Dude was one of the best.
ETA: You cant discount past vs present on these type of things, but I stand by what I said. He could play in todays game in his prime

But how many of them have played linebacker and running back . He basically played 55 minutes in every game .
