So what you're saying is the SEC program's ICON needs to be someone who peaked in college. That's silly.

Should Terrell Davis or Hines Ward be in the mix for the UGA spot, simply because of what they did in the NFL? What about dominique because of his time in the pros?

It's the ICON of each "SEC Football Program". One would assume that means what they player did at that SEC football program.
