Talk about an oversimplification. I think it is a consensus that Chief was one of the absolute best at slowing down spread offenses. He was cutting edge. Thankfully, LSU doesn't run that kind of offense, so LSU fans aren't super worried. It is easy to reduce all points of view to absolutes and criticize them for being absurd. Much harder to talk about subtleties.
