Well, Chavis is a good coach, and their team was really young.

Even improvement to the 70s/60s in total defense with their playmakers on offense make them a very dangerous team.

I just don't know how Chavis is going to magically make their secondary not suck and their front 7 not get pushed around. That's the big question.

I remember the 2010 arkansas defense was ranked #36 by years end. no one feared that defense but I remember feeling it was decent, but not suffocating. that offense was as potent of an offense as any. unless a&m can get a top 30 or top 25 defense it doesn't matter how potent thier offense is they won't be good enough on defense to get to the championship game. they are a year away from being able to get the kind of defense it will take to compete at that level.
