Hard to rate him when he missed a large chunk of the season last year due to injury. He stays healthy an entire season and he'll no longer be underrated, imo.

Not really.

He was ahead of Chubb on the depth hart until his shoulder injury.

So based on competition in practice, and on the field in game time, under the direct supervision and scrutiny of Richt, Bobo, and McClendon, it was determined he was ahead of Chubb.

Chubb ran for +1500 yds...
Is it safe to say the coaches were wrong on Chubb?

And there is that pesky word "was". Why didn't he stay ahead of Chubb? Injured. Brendan Douglas was ahead of Michel at that point.

So, again, he needs to prove his durability. On talent alone, sure. But Michel's talent did us no good against Missouri, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky or Auburn because his shoulder was in a sling.

That's a significant chunk of the season. Then he gets injured again in Spring practice. Durability has to factor into the ranking and Michel still needs to prove his, imo.
