What is your predicted Depth Chart at the EOY? Just wanted to talk football.

First ones listed are my choices.

DE- R. Brown
DE- Jefferson
DT- Jones
DT- Thomas or James?
OLB- Gray (refuse to think Z. Jackson really will play)
OLB- B. Brown
MLB- Green or R.Brown?
CB- Redmond
CB- Calhoun or Jiles?
S- Market or Bryant?
S- Peters or Coman?

That's a pretty stout line-up from top to bottom. If Diaz teaches them to play his style, it could be a pretty good year for the defense.

I think that list looks good.

DE - I would say that both DE spots end up more of a platoon than a first team / second team type deal. Coleman, Brown, Jefferson, and Calvin will end up playing a lot.

DT - James will start but I'm good with putting Thomas on there because by the end of the year he may end up with more of the snaps.

OLB - Biggest question mark on the defense. If Z Jackson starts and plays a majority of the snaps we are fricked. You're either going to see Gray start here or Richie Brown is going to slide over and you will see a three man linebacking corp of Brown, Brown, and Green.

CB - Redmond and Calhoun are first team, absolutely no doubt.

S - I hope it is Bryant and Peters, but it will be some combination of Peters and Market, Coman, or Evans.

I agree, but I think Jiles is going to be a key contributor this season.

I wouldn't be surprised for him to be the constant nickel back.

Anyone opposed to me starting Nkemdiche vs Jones 2k15 version? I'll side with Jones if y'all will accept my proposal and contribute.

DE - I know the coaches were really high on A. Mullins at DE when they signed him. He may end up getting PT.

DT - The forgotten guy at DT is N. Adams. He has been pretty consistent for us and he could potentially break through. I feel like our DT depth is not as bad as I once thought with Jones, Adams, James, & Thomas. We also have 4 star Fletcher Adams.

LB - Not sure how things are looking with Jung? I am a big fan of Gray.

CB - I like that Jiles is healthy. Would like to see Stamps get that 4th spot.

S - I am good with Market playing if healthy but do not want to see Evans unless its a goal line situation.

I highly doubt any freshmen DL get any PT. The only one to do so in recent history has been Chris Jones. The only one that may see the field this year in Fletcher Adams and I seriously doubt he does either.

Definitely. He will be sure to get plenty of snaps.

I keep forgetting about Jung because he didn't get there until the second summer semester I believe, but I really liked his film and hope he gets that spot. Really anyone so that Z Jackson doesn't get it.

Again, outside of Peters, Leo, and maybe Fletcher, I would be shocked to see any freshmen get playing time outside of ST. It's just not Mullen's MO.

Why would you make that comparison? Jones had the same stats on half the snaps.

Look for these two to have a big year. Especially Brown, he's going to be playing on Sundays and it wouldn't surprise me if he jumps out and earns a low draft pick.

That's what I was thinking after I posted earlier.

Would be nice for a Juco lineman to have a first year impact.

Don't want every starter back. Upgrading those quarter carat diamonds for some bling.
