Those were down years. Therefore, your success those years is not acknowledged by the truly elite programs who win during competitive years.

Auburn only wins when the SEC is down. Auburn only beat Mizzou (and barely won at that) when Mizzou was down.

However, I'll give Auburn credit for winning when the SEC is extremely down. Winning is winning, regardless.

Like in 2013 when there were 5 SEC teams in the top 15 of the BCS? Yeah, the SEC was "extremely down" then.
