To me, there has only been one powerhouse. Bama. LSU came close and might have been there before 2012 I suppose

Have you only watched football the last three years? LSU and Florida both have 2 national championships in the past 15 years while bama has 3. Auburn has won the sec 3 times in that same period with 1 national championship... and most of these teams have Heisman contenders/winners.

A powerhouse program usually recruits well and competes for championships or has one some in the recent past. Some teams like Florida have had some coaching problems that limits them from succeeding but that doesnt mean that their program isn't a powerhouse. Last year was one of LSU's youngest and inexperienced teams that it fielded in the past 10 years (some might argue the worst with Jennings at QB) yet we still took bama, the team that creamed yall in the SECCG, to triple overtime. Big games like that, I just dont see mizzou competing in.
