He can't get in without meeting requirements, so technically he would have "earned it." Please tell me you have never received something over someone that they probably deserved more than you. People get jobs all the time and are less qualified than other applicants because of connections, please don't act like it never happens and/or shouldn't happen.

So, college scholarships people receive for their parents being alumni are POS's? The student is receiving them based off their parent's merits. You probably should have thought about this one first.
